Review: 'Worry Dolls'
'Go Get One'

-  Album: 'Go Get One' -  Label: 'Bread & Butter Music'
-  Genre: 'Alt/Country' -  Release Date: '27th January 2017'

Our Rating:
It’s the close harmonies which stand out on this collection of dainty ditties from English female duo Worry Dolls. Simple, traditional instrumentation of picked acoustic guitar and banjo, with the occasional shaker and similar percussion gives the songs a feeling of honesty and an immediacy.

That the album was recorded in Nashville shines through in the uptempo country vibe of ‘Train’s Leaving’ and elsewhere, as on ‘Miss You Already’, they lay on the sadness with heartaching conviction.
