Review: 'GOOSEBREAD'
'Blobbik's Blood'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '11th May 2018'

Our Rating:
Goosebread is an acoustic two piece from Cleveland, Ohio comprising songwriter Brad "The Provider" Skinner on vocals and musical arranger Wayne "The Lifechanger" Richards on guitar and backing vocals.

Their second album is a concept album that covers deliberately offensive, family unfriendly topics. These are dominated by a Sweeney Todd-like relish for the grim details of torture, murder and cannibalism.

Skinner says “This album is steeped in the most grotesque wonderlands and cured with spices from the depths of the most benighted lagoons.”.

Musically it's pedestrian at best and the sick humour loses its novelty value very rapidly.

The darkness is made visible by John Burness Jr.of Arsenal Animation in videos for Freedom Wagon, Bobby The Eater and Windmill Graveyard.

If you can stomach any one of this twisted juvenile trilogy then you may be on the same perverted wavelength as this pair of nerds. Personally speaking, these are two individuals I'd go out of my way to avoid.
