Review: 'Pentral'
'Silent Trees'

-  Label: 'i-tunes/youtube'
-  Genre: 'Heavy Metal' -  Release Date: '5.3.21.'

Our Rating:
This is the debut single by Brazilian Progressive metal band Pentral who come from Belem. It comes from the bands debut album What Lies Ahead Of Us that will be out at the end of May. The single has been mixed by Tim Palmer and the video was shot deep in the Amazon forest.

Silent Trees has vocals that remind me a lot of Bruce Dickinson when he's singing rather than screaming set against decent riff-based metal that goes off in places into almost Dream Theatre territory as they sing about the current climate crisis and how they are affected by it in Brazil and how we need to get in touch with our inner spirits to move things forward in a positive direction. As we are disgusted by the pollution and litter that has ended up in the forest. For the gear heads among you Joe Ferri plays a six string bass on this tune.
