Review: 'Queen, Monica'
'I Gave You Love'

-  Label: 'Last Night From Glasgow/Creeping Bent Organisation'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '22.4.22.'

Our Rating:
This single is the first release by the new collaboration between The Creeping Bent Organisation and Last Night from Glasgow Records and comes from Monica's new album Stop That Girl that's out in August. In case anyone doesn't already know Monica was the voice of Thrum and in recent years has put out a string of very cool records including the incredible The Birthday Poems album with Chris Connelly.

I Gave You Love is yet another gorgeous and seductive single from Monica Queen, This time a long lost song by Bourgie Bourgie whose original Guitarist Mark Swan plays one of the guitars alongside Johnny Smillie, let her vocals seduce you and get wrapped in the warm production and superlative guitar of this song of full on Love and a little bit of regret for the way you left her standing there.
