Every year for the last decade now, Live at Leeds has got bigger and better. Some years, the lineup may seem only so-so to begin with, but will evolve to prove itself to be a blinder. Live at Leeds isn’t only the event which marks the start of the festival season, but is the antenna of the UK’s music scene, as well as a fantastic advertisement for Leeds as a city of music in every respect.

This year’s lineup isn’t only strong on headliners, but – as ever – has a wealth of up-and-coming acts packing out the lower orders.

With Future Islands opening on the Friday night, and Saturday’s main event including Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Slaves, White Lies, Wild Beasts, The Pigeon Detectives, Nothing But Thieves, Gabrielle Aplin, Jagwar Ma, Temples and The Hunna among the big-name draws, there’s a lot to get excited about.

Honeyblood, Luxury Death, Team Picture, Treeboy and Arc and Pale Waves among the staggering array of talent on display during the day, and the fact that it’s only £32.50 for the main event is, well, madness.

Live at Leeds takes place across various venues on Saturday 29th April. Info and tickets are available at liveatleeds.com/
