Stockholm trio Vero is back with their second full-length, a record that thrives on urgency: no re-takes, no second-guessing—just pedal-to-the-floor intensity. Following the acclaimed debut LP Unsoothing Interior (press Uncut, CLASH, Dork, The Line of Best Fit, KEXP etc) from 2022, Razor Tongue drive into rougher, rawer territory. The result is wiry alt-rock with punk edges, choruses that detonate, and lyrics about obsession, loneliness, and fragile declarations of love.
New single "Dead Train" follows the previously released "100 Calls" (which was picked by NPR's All Songs Considered as one of the best tracks of the week of release), and finds the band and their "most chill yet" (according to themselves). The band's also just announced their debut UK live appearance for March 26 at The Shacklewell Arms, alongside label mates ShitKid and vegas water taxi, as well as an appearance at Tallinn Music Week in Estonia with more live dates TBA.
