SnakeMary, having completed their line up after a gruelling two years of auditions and pure luck, are set to release their debut single 'Lay By The River.' Founder Kevin Barber, started the band with the sole intention of making the record he was born to make and if 'Lay By The River' is anything to go by, he's done just that.
SnakeMary have certainly embraced their blues roots with the blues-style riffs, hints of keys and steady bass line topped off with the incredibly chilled vocals from Beccy Brennan who makes it sound like flawless vocals come without trying. Comparisons could be made to Rory Gallagher or Buddy Guy, perhaps even Joe Bonamassa.
