Slow, undulating drones, soft and warm, envelop delicate piano notes. The individual pieces flow into one another seamlessly, invisibly, inaudibly, the instrumentation gliding almost imperceptibly from gentle chimes to hovering, cloud-like swirls.
Minimal rhythms appear toward the end of the album, but in the main, it’s very much a floating, freeform approach to sound that Sowako takes, creating an album that glides and eddies and flows supple and ether-like somewhere some distance above the ground.
