Wise choice, this one. Of all the treasures on Stellastarr's excellent, eponymous debut, "My Coco"'s the one pogoing on the spot and waving its' arms excitedly about translating to hit single status. And if it's not a big one (hit single, keep your mind on your driving) then this writer will do something very desperate indeed. Like go to see David Kitt out of choice or something.
Anyway, "My Coco"s the biz where the classic three minute single is concerned. Sure, it's been edited down, but there's loads going on here and most of it sounds like a brilliant microcosm of everything cool that we've loved that's come out of New York since the heady days of CBGBs. If you wanna be specific, then check out Shawn Christensen and Michael Jurin's ace Blondie-meets-Provan guided missile guitars, Arthur Kremer's piledriving, Clem Burke understudy, hi-hat riding drums and Christensen's deliriously positive, early David Byrne vocals, but to be honest it's a rollicking feast of fun that needs all its' vital components equally.

Yea verily, then, an effortlessly cool single from an ace Big Apple band. What else should you know? Nowt. Buy the bugger now.
