Review: 'SKY VALLEY MISTRESS'
'Rivals, Hounds & Rebel Sisters (EP)'

-  Label: 'Brock'n'Broll'
-  Genre: 'Heavy Metal' -  Release Date: '30th January 2015'

Our Rating:
Lock up your sons because Kayley 'Hell Kitten' Davies is in town!

She is the foxy front lady of this very metal quartet from Blackburn, Lancashire.

"Being mystic ain't magic" she advises on Smoke Fairy the lead track of the three songs on this riff-heavy EP.

A cover version of Black Sabbath's Paranoid on their Soundcloud identifies one of the band's key influences and the electric-blues of Wishbone and She Is So show that they've also been playing their Led Zeppelin albums to death. If I'm not mistaken, the latter features licks lifted directly from In My Time Of Dying.

It's not quite as down and dirty as I think they were striving for but if old school hard rock is your bag this should get your head banging.
