Sending us into Christmas day with a flourish, soul artist Kelly Moneymaker has delivered a double Christmas treat in the form of twin Xmas singles 'Home For The Holidays' and 'Jingle Bells'.
The former is a lovely, lilting blues original, featuring Moneymaker's trademark powerhouse vocal in an almost-duet with a great, old school sax part.
Meanwhile, 'Jingle Bells' gets a bluesy makeover too. Though it has a someone slow opening, once this gets going it's good fun and a reminder that even the most familiar of songs can be refreshed in the right hands.
Both songs are out now on iTunes for those looking for a touch of Christmas cheer - and for those looking to do their bit for charity too, there's good news. A percentage of each sale will go towards charities researching the effect of climate change in polar bear habitats.
