On the Canadian singer-songwriter's sixth album piano, fiddle and pedal steel guitar add an Alt.Country flavour to ten reflective songs of "past loves, lives lost and new hope found".
Catherine MacLellan sings a duet on My Sweet Rosetta and the title appears in the Jackson Browne style opening song The Ghost Of Him in which the singer is haunted by a past lover and the "repeated contradiction of a complicated past".
It's all pleasant enough but much too same old, same old to get excited about.
