The first thing that strikes me about Moonwalks' second LP is the similarity to The Verve circa "Gravity Grave" which is no bad thing.
I think it is the vocals that do it, coupled with the space rock interface. It also feels a little like this might have made a better EP than a full length? The longer tracks such as "Hum" seem to lose their way a bit. However, the shorter (and better) tracks such as "A Little Touch Of Gravity", "Isreal Is Real" and "Steam Train" show bags of promise.
Moonwalks are a young, hungry band and if they can capture the magic dust then the future could be bright for them.
