The Silverbeets are apparently at the forefront of the Tasmanian indie scene having been making waves on the Island since 2014, This song is the first single from the bands forthcoming album Halcyon Days.
We Mattered (Once Upon A Time) is an early 70's harmony rock influenced indie single that asks for everyone to start caring for each other again and in particular for the people running things to actually show they care for ordinary people, while a very cool guitar part plays against the harmony vocals and draw you into the bands world that does sound like they are nicely adrift.
