Our Rating:
This is I Am Rocketship's second release of the year, this time a 5-song ep to follow on from Ghost Stories album that came out in April. These songs have been written and recorded since lockdown began and reflects the pain and anger this year has brought as we all deal with how much life has changed.

The ep opens with Shooting Star that isn't a Lou Reed cover sadly, or a cover of any of the other Shooting Star's out there, instead it's a slowly building indie tune about the sort of Shooting Star that comes and turns your life upside down when they disturb your relationships normal orbit as you try to figure out if it's a good or bad thing.

God's Country opens with a radio announcer babbling on before the female vocals come in to ask questions of how things are going for people born like them in God's Country, this has a dark twanging alternative country rock feel to it, as they ask questions and hope for things to improve as they get the answers, this has a good bit of swagger to it.

oRAnGE opens like a dancefloor pop banger with some dark twists to the music like they want to pummel your brains as everyone mosh's their anger out at everything that you might offensive this year about things that are oRAnGE!

The Light In Your Eyes strips things right the way back to start with as they try to come to terms with what's going on with vocals that are a bit Sahara Hotnights and this is almost as poppy as that suggests, this song has some cool twists.

Back From The Shadows shakes it's head in disbelief at the things they have seen this year and how life its now totally different and not in any good ways over a college rock backing that feels like the louder end of Poe's music, this will make you think about how nice it would be to just melt back into the shadows once more.
