Life Hugger is the first single from Jimi Tenors latest album Multiversum that comes out next month along with a book Omniverse-Sounds, Sights and Stories. Snice reviewing last year's excellent rarities collection Deep Sound Learning I've found the songs from that album have really shone when played as part of a big mix on my work I-pod. I am pretty sure this single will have the same effect.
Life hugger sounds like it could be from the soundtrack of an update to Belle & Sebastian, it has that bucolic sound, as if the wild horses should be running by, then the dancefloor beat comes in, as Jimi sings about Hugging the trees and generally looking out for your fellow man, along with classic flute funk solo this is a very cool and laid-back single.
