Our Rating:
Shaw's Trailer Park is a deep in the trashy parts of Brighton, hoping to bring some garage rock goodness to the South Coast, Head honcho in the Trailer Park is T Sanpher who in trying to make sure the band doesn't stink like Rottingdean found like minded souls in Andy Fraser, Donna Butler, Mark Wilson and Simon Smith.

The album opens with Don't Do That a jangling, almost death rock, urgent song telling the kids what they shouldn't do, if they don't want to upset the parents, that includes a glorious guitar solo, some mangled percussion, just behave yourself right.

Crash Landing is a hazy come down tune for someone whose done a few too many Nitrous bullets and mixed it with all sorts of other things, now they are almost over the edge, needing to come down once more, in a similar vein to No Easy Way Down by The Rain Parade or Come Down Easy by Spaceman 3.

Sun Device takes us deep into the Barrio's of Brighton as they try not to get caught in a trap, Link Wray has infused the guitars as Donna Butler's sax magic takes them through several musical lanes.

Rainbow Man sounds like it could easily be a greasy rock tribute to Rainbow George as they discuss his seven lives, all the escapades around the esplanade are steadily thrown out at us.

She's Alright she may even be a Roedene girl, as she loves playing hockey, on this fast-paced estuary blues rocker, they claim she's the coolest girl in town. They are totally smitten as the insistent guitars make clear, as they name check Wilko Johnson while trying to seal the deal.

Memory slows things down to a Sonics type garage rock place, as they try to dredge up the right things from there collective Memory where fuzz guitar solos are at the forefront.

Restraint has been applied to the music and the lyrics, this is the sparsest tune on the album, hopefully no Restraining orders were issued during the making of this song, and any Restraints used were totally consensual as that cowbell marks time until you are released once more.

The album closes with Snakegirl who charms those snakes to the insistent beat, as we marvel at the collection of Snakes she has tattooed over her body, as she tries to escape from the hot tub of womankind, while avoiding the clutches of the wrong guys. They drool over her, hoping she will give them the time of day, well this tune might persuade her to give them a small chance.
