As the album title suggests this album was recorded live at the Artcentre in Carrboro North Carolina when free jazz improvisers Tragic Assembly were joined by Japanese drummer Tatsuya Nakatami for an evening of Free Jazz exploration, this album is the result. Tragic Assembly are Phil Venable, Crowmeat Bob Pence and Charles Chace.
The album and performance opens with At Last they can play free jazz again, vibing against each other, as the sonic journey into space, seeking new communications of sound, distillated distortions of reality, bending notes, shaping weird glyphs, fluttering expansively, spaces seen yet not seen.
Slowly Comprehending tones seep through, Bowed bass notes flow by, tremors inscribing squeals, snake hipped charmed tribal beats across frontiers of sound.
Enjoyment And Illusions, screams and howls, squalls and declensions, ascendant yet descendant, sandpaper or velvet, Arabesque yet Indochine, vibes or distillations, floaty but chained, squealing not squandering, sealing with singularity, clarity of cadences.

Within Life stringed pulsations, blown messages, so called misapprehensions among the tensions. Quacked strummed rung call to the wilds, danger point reached, no more deceit, the truth of the sound, distant thought just won't distort, melding together cohesive while still apart, sounds from another space or reality. Shofar blasts walls tumble, indiscreet graffiti tied transmissions.
