Review: 'Dirty Strangers, The'
'La La La I Couldn't Care Less'

-  Label: 'Cargo/I-Tunes/Deezer'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '24.3.24.'

Our Rating:
La La I Couldn't Care Less is the third single from The Dirty Strangers Latest album Hunters Moon that came out last year. The single comes with two non-album B-sides. The current line-up of the band for the single is Alan Clayton, John Rollason, Holly Clayton, Lol Fox and Cliff Wright.

This is one of those rare times when this reviewer also appears in the video for the song he is obviously going to give a rave review too, as how can I not love the latest bruised song, of love and lust going to pieces, as Alan lays bare all the reasons that La La La I Couldn't Care Less in the style of the most bruised louche laid back Rolling Stones style blues rocker.

Cell Block No 5 (Solitary Mix) is an acoustic strum through this story of redemption and apologies from an old lag, who is still trying to repent while doing some more stir, will he ever be able to make it all up again, as he wipes those diamonds from his eyes again, while sounding like the latter day tunes of Chas & Dave, this is reflective while still hoping brighter days might be ahead.

The third song on the single is a rough bootleg version of Diamonds recorded at The 100 Club Resolution Festival at the start of the year, when my cameo for the video was shot, this was a nice take on the bands classic break up song, that was dedicated to Al's old friend Ken on the anniversary of his passing a few years earlier, this has a slow evocative solo from John Rollason as Al tries to convince her it's time to move on.
