This duo, a beat boxing bass player (John Parker) & vocalist/guitarist (Luke Concannon), play an eclectic mix of acoustic, hip-hop, folk - sounds like it shouldn't work but it certainly does.
Their album, Half These Songs Are About You is unmissable.
The lyrics are superbly written and performed; indeed making you feel that Half These Songs Are About You! From upbeat funky sounds to the most beautiful JCB - a moving account of a sons love for his father - this album will have you spellbound.
They are almost certainly the best live acoustic act in the UK at present. With the ability to bridge the gap between performer and audience and get the entire room moving together - in fact in Luke’s words 'dancing like no one's watching' - they make for an astounding night out.
