Trouser Dress are the genderqueer Indie pop act, who make silly sad gay songs for silly sad gay people, they are Carden Mucklin who is based in Hull, East Yorkshire and the single was produced at Adam Patrick at the Warren House Youth project.
Coffee at 7? Is a rather pretty invitation to go out for a date with them, it's unclear if its an early morning rendezvous or the start of an evening, but this soft dappled shoegaze anthem makes it seem like it will be relaxed fun, the twist comes when you realize one of the people at this date is a ghost.
The Piano is a cry of pain for a loner who doesn't want to talk to anyone, and wonders will anyone stop them leaving, care enough to chat to them, the slow strummed acoustic guitar, the narrator is asked, by Fay her saviour, to play the piano and suddenly comes to life with new friends and is far less lonely by the end of the song.
