Our Rating:
Getting Warmer is the latest collaboration between drumming legend Matt Tecu and guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Fernando Perdomo recorded in Los Angeles with special guests Cheyenne Crowe and Rami Jaffe.

The album opens with Low Hanging Fruit that has a classic drive time rock riff with heavy driving organ, that will sound great as you speed down a non 20mph speed restricted road.

Between The Sheets happens once you reach your destination and explains the urgency of the opening track, this sultry 70's porno soundtrack, library tune, sashays across your speakers like the second coming of Sylvia Kristel.

Club Lingerie takes them down to the Sunset Strip and that legendary venue, for a colossal funky tune that has 80's leanings and all the teased hair and shoulder pads the bands used to wear, thankfully it sounds far better than the last band I saw in that venue Wasted Youth did.

Koko Sal has a spring break beach holiday feel, like they are cruising the Florida beaches in search of the girls that chase after Crocket and Tubbs, in search of the next Daquiri.

The Destiny Inn is more laid-back soundtrack, soul funk instrumental that should be playing in the background, while the heroine struts towards the bar in search of her next conquest.

Foreign Correspondent is super laid back late 70's soulful letter from abroad, hoping to open minds to the wonders far from home.
Deflowers that shaking tambourine beat, getting funky and ready to dance to that hip hop infused beat, dropping with that bassline.

Tarte Ala Creme is the only song with vocals, by the super sultry Cheyenne Crowe, going all Jane Birkin narrating the intro to a smoky French existentialist movie, this tune reeks of Gauloise smoke.

Sweat Weather crosses a super fly guitar line, with acoustic guitar and subtropical drum patterns.

The album closes with Getting Warmer a real rain spattered come down chill out tune, to help you relax and forget everything that's happening.
