Review: 'Bug Facer'
'Man Killed By Train'

-  Label: 'Warren Records'
-  Genre: 'Punk/New Wave' -  Release Date: '31.3.25.'

Our Rating:
Man Killed By Train is the latest ep to come out on Hulls very cool Warren Records who are an off shoot of the Warren Youth Project. The EP was produced at Warren House by Adam Pattrick, Bug Facer are currently a trio of Josh Burdett, Will Longton and Tom Steel.

The Ep Opens with the psychedelic doom rock of Spinosaurus a tune about the discovery of a rare dinosaur skeleton in Munich during WW2, sadly shortly after its discovery it was destroyed in an Allied Bombing raid, angry bile ridden vocals over the incandescent guitars, rail over the idiocy of war and the need to dig deep to find all of the worlds history.

Coke Cola Shop is for those of you still addicted to that stuff, I've been clean from since 1985, this sounds like Rapeman having a dust up with Slint, it's perfect for a manic mosh pit.

Sweet Pea has loose low-slung droning guitars on this early song that the band wrote as a four piece. This is sludgy insistent and full of dark gloomy sentiments.
