Review: 'TRACK DOGS'
'Tracks Laid, Tracks Covered'

-  Label: 'Mondegreen Records'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '25th April 2025'-  Catalogue No: 'MGR1125'

Our Rating:
Madrid-based Folk-Americana-Roots-Latino quartet comprises two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American.

The double album comprises 31 tracks drawn from their first 10 years of album, EP and single releases, alongside 9 new recordings and a smattering of covers.

It’s all a bit overwhelming to absorb in one sitting but lively enough to dip into.

The upbeat selection is mainly based on what they band play live. Alongside guitars you’ll hear trumpet and cajón, banjo, ukulele and mandolin.

One imagines that sweaty clubs and summer festivals are their natural habitats since their music is designed to get keep audiences engaged and entertained. On record a little goes a long way.
