Review: 'Celeste Corsano'
'Stuck'

-  Label: 'Magic Door Records'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '8.7.25.'

Our Rating:
Stuck is the latest single by Celeste Corsano, whose music is a lot more mainstream than her brother Chris Corsano usually puts out. Celeste recorded at Magic Door Recording studio in Montclair New Jersey with Ray Ketchum producing. With backing from Ray Ketchum, David Nagler and James Mastro, Celeste plays piano and sings.

The single opens with Stuck a rather gentle opening, with Celeste's rather pure sounding vocals, telling things will be better, over the gentle piano and drum backing, the guitars then do some slightly off things, while we wonder exactly what has got to Celeste, making her feel so Stuck.

Nightbird is one of the earlier singles and from its ethereal opening, it soon takes a gentle flight into Kate Bush style whimsy, the woozy bass with stripped back percussion allows Celeste to emphasise her vocal range, in the darker passages she sounds very far from the wilderness she sings about.

Sun Gazing has all the elements that drive me to distraction when I have to hear Kate Bush, this mewls against the strings and is perfect for Yummy Mummies to dream the day away too.
