Following on from last year's CL.1 album Clone are back with a new three track EP, recording once again with producer Martin Bisi at his BC studios with LG Galleon assisting him and mastered by Fred Kevorkian. Clone are based in Brooklyn and are LG Galleon, Greg Giufree, Max Idas, Dominic Turi and Lyla Vander. The band will be promoting the EP across the US with tour dates being: Oct 09 Philadelphia, PA TBD, Oct 10 Clinton, CT - Scottish Dave's Pub, Oct 11 Boston, MA - O'Briens Pub (Allston), Oct 12 Providence, RI - The Scurvy Dog, Oct 13 Saratoga Springs, NY - Desperate Annie's, Oct 25 Brooklyn, NY - Mama Tried, Nov 13 Brooklyn, NY - The Woodshop, Dec 6 Johnstown, PA - The Columbia Theater Project.
The Ep opens with the forceful guitars of Care To Try with reverb laden vocals giving this a bit of a Fall like edge, to the dark brooding alternative rock begging you to come alive, it's not your time to die, so make the best of things while you are here with us, no matter how things get to you.
Galvanized is something we all need to be, to oppose the dark forces swarming all around, dark hued guitars jangle through the mix, flying off in explosive shards to emphasize the enveloped vocals, encased in a yearning wasted feeling, emerging into the blasted wasteland, fighting to be allowed to carry on living normal alternative lives.
Libras At Dusk are a shoegaze cult waiting to happen, this lists all the things it takes to join that cult, all that those Libras will do for you at dusk. They will make sure you know what is right or wrong for you, they read your mind, you'll end up feeling blissed out and complete if you allow the cult into your heart.
