-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '5.9.25.'

Our Rating:
This new single from Los Angeles based Psych rockers Shplang is being released to celebrate, the bands three decades deep back catalogue, finally hitting streaming services. The bands core duo of John Krause and Peter Marston have readied a new version of fan favourite Lets Get High (And I Could Be Your Man) with new song Frankie's Back that they recorded for the Big Stir Records Halloween Grimoire double album.

The A-side is Lets Get High (And I Could Be Your Man) is a sweet, but not sickly so, hushed neo ballad of love and desire, they set out why they might want you to get high with them, although they don't say what they want to get high on, other than life and your good self.

Frankie's Back feasting on the bones of the city, their goes the neighbourhood, he did it his way and now Frankie's Back, it's not about the infamous German General that the original Frankenstein may have been built on. Hearing this separated from the Grimoire gives it a slightly different emphasis, although you will probably end up singing along with the chorus quite quickly.
