Our Rating:
Profits Of Doom is the latest album by Chicago based Darkwave Shock Rockers Sinister Fate, who are rather gutted at how on the money some of the music on the record is, in comparison with the current behaviour of Chumps Regime in Chicago and other Peace loving major American cities. Sinister Fate are Noel Divad, Leo Garcia, The Omen, David Bates and DK.

The album opens with the far too prescient beLIEve that foresees the current dreadful treatment of the Peace loving people of Chicago and other cities, treated like combatants in a war with the current regime, this has the anger and bile of The Guantanamo School Of Medicine, the desperate place they find themselves in, being purged by Ice agents for not looking white enough or Christian enough, they have never met a god they didn't hate, this song is now a rallying call for the resistance trying not to break any more dreams.

Season Of The VVitch has a slow rimshot led intro, it's unsettling music for truly unsettling times. Meet Mr Scratch he will take you to the crossroads and shoot you full of fentanyl or some other ugly drug while whispering you'll just feel a little scratch and well can you ever come back to reality, will you want to in the current times, never has being ravaged by hellhounds of serious drug habits seemed more appealing, compared to the reality of real life. Which road to hell will you take?

Scars Of The Monster has of course a doom-laden monster riff, can you escape the clutches of the current Monster stalking America, destroying normality day by day, taking away all the things you thought made you American and replacing it with all consuming hate and disgrace, times as heavy as this need music that is heavier than ever.

Hey Man Nice Shot has a bowel shaking bassline to this slow imperious tale of a tossed away comment of Hey Man Nice Shot given to yet another spree killer, no they don’t condone senseless murder, no matter who carries it out, or who the victims may be, keep fighting against the appalling violence, the only violence you should support is violent music, nasty grinding guitars, shell shock drumming and throaty battle hardened vocals.

No God We Trust (beLIEve Remix) purges most of the bass and dials back the guitars a touch, giving this a low-slung intensity, sludgy feelings to purge your city of the Ice Monsters, get your fists in the air and start chanting Purge Purge Purge at them, until they retreat to the sewers they crawled out of.

Pay The Price (Meet Mr Scratch Remix) is ready for the darkest nastiest dance floors, grab a flier at Wax Trax with a map marking the worst shooting galleries you can find, in disused warehouses and just go insane to the industrial grindcore shock rock, anything to avoid the reality on the streets right now.

Monster Unbound (Scars Of the Monster Remix) Part 1 is Helloween ready for the darkest of dark days, cities in flames, societal collapse, orange morons marauding like they own the place, never owning there own disgrace, can they outrun the ministry of concerned citizens trying to dial things back. The album closes with Shock & AAHH! Scars Of The Monster Remix) Pt 2 that is sludgier, even more aghast at the Ice Monsters rampaging through the streets, destroying everything that made Sinister Fates hometown special.
