According to ‘bigcockweeb’ on the Last.Fm message board “these guys are going places”. I’m not so sure.
The Swiss power trio’s 5th studio album strikes all the right poses and they produce some passable riffs but don’t land any killer punches.
Previously the band have experimented with psychedelic folk but they call their current sound "Infinite Rock".
The ten minute Calypso is the centrepiece; a kind of stoner anthem which sounds like a watered-down version of Black Sabbath,
This precedes three tracks that hint at Caribbean reggae influences.
This confusing gear change culminates in the title track that shows that the band have a range of interesting ideas but no clear focus.
