Review: 'MILLENCOLIN'
'Ray'

-  Label: 'Burning Heart Records'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '2005'-  Catalogue No: 'BUH 2007-2'

Our Rating:
This is "Ray" from newish album "Kingswood" and two otherwise not available tracks, "Phony Tony" and a live recording of "Bullion"

The three songs are indistinguishable from each other or from a million other fast and furious two-voice/three chords/powerhouse drummer "punk" bands. Not punk at all, of course. Horribly contrived, controlled and lifeless.

If you like this stuff, good luck. But do check out THE KNACK'S My Sharona, THE WHO'S "Can't Explain", THE SKIDS' "Into the Valley" or this month's "Diagnose" by THE TERMINALS and just take a deep breath. Cordite and sweat always smells better than a boxfresh promo video with computer graphics and perfect production.
