Tvärvägen is the nom de plume of bedroom producer turned composer and multi-instrumentalist Henrik Öhberg who was born 1980.
Magenta Quartet, formed in 2022 by alto saxophonist Julia Strzalek. This is a Swedish saxophone quartet of two altos and two tenors who work in the fields of jazz, free improvisation and contemporary art music.
The other three members are David Bennet on alto, and tenor players Johannes Gammelgaard Lauritsen and Pelle Westlin.
The six tracks contain delays, phase-shifting and gentle loops which have the restful quality of musicians who do not feel the need to make dramatic statements.
