Master Of Silence is an international collaboration between Australian/German electro industrial act Master of Silence who feature two Brummie transplants in their number, they are Bill Barsby, Richard Thacker, Alex Wise and Markus App who collaborated with Danish industrial legend Leaether Strip who is Claus Larson. The EP was produced by Chris Petersen and engineered by Greg Reely
The Ep opens with the dark twisted industrial rock of Oblivion the shiver inducing synths with slow drums accentuate the vocals, that sound a lot like Paul-Ronny Angel, guiding us through the dark clear illuminated choices between Oblivion and survival.
Rage they are ready to move on and hope the Rage they feel for you won't last forever, they are working within a despairing dancefloor industrial soundscape, that is trying to make clear all the ways they need to wash their hands of you and your behaviour.
Obstacles has a repeating line, kick off stay focussed, pumping dancefloor beats driving at the Obstacles that remain stopping us from living in a peaceful world, that is fair for the many not the few.
Crowned takes us deep into the desires that fire their flames, this slows down to allow listeners to focus on just what those desires might be, are you interested in helping them to make those Desires reality, while a variety of chat up lines are darkly declaimed.
