Just as you thought that the era of cheesy pop bands marketed at the young and impressionable market of children was over, along comes N1KK1 (read Nikki) a sixteen year old boy with a girl's name.
It’s obvious that N1kk1 has been influenced by all the pop greats- Steps and Aaron Carter (little bro of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter)- and his debut single ‘Baby It’s Love’ oozes of energy, charisma and joy.
Complete with banal lyrics, instruments last seen on the playroom floor of a three year old and annoying and repetitive chants akin to those heard on the playground this catchy pop tune is absolutely god awful. Expect it to be loved and adored by all of its market audience and drive you to become a hardcore Gabba fan in protest.
