I woke on Saturday morning vowing never to drink again with the headache from hell and a note book full of random, non sensicle scriblings. The drunken misadventures of the night before began at the Luminaire where Scottish band ‘The Needles’ were playing, and ended with me passed out on the doorstep of my new flat. As far as I can make out the band weren’t bad; musically quite commercial but crazy on stage and highly entertaining.
Despite one drunk crowd member saying he ‘expected punk and just got spunk!’ the Needles are an addictively energetic band that I’m certain will be huge.
