Review: 'LEAMA'
'FAITH IN MYSELF'

-  Label: 'SWEDISH DIVA'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'July 2006'

Our Rating:
The label explains everything you may want to know about Leama- a bit like that Ronseal advert- this is a woman who does what it says on the tin. Complete with tinny panpipes and bad rapping ‘Faith In Myself’ epitomises all that’s bad with bland, boring musak- the kind heard in lifts and supermarkets worldwide.

Leama’a voice is unremarkable, a bit like her music, it is simply an
amalgamation of successful tunes slowed down with echo added in the background. There is her dance track full of pumping beats, her folk track (with the panpipes) and her hip hop track all which somehow manage to sound exactly the same. There is nothing on album to specifically dislike, but at the same time there’s nothing that will make you sit up and listen.
