Review: 'KID CASANOVA'
'THE KIDS IN THIS TOWN'

-  Label: 'SOMETHING IN CONSTRUCTION (www.kidcasnova.com)'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '18th September 2006'

Our Rating:
This elegantly wasted four piece from Coney Island deliver a swaggeringpunk/pop/rock single which has a strong hook and knock about chorusripe for young hoodies to hum.

Playing with Tom Verlaine, The Shins and Brian Jonestown Massacre has certainly seasoned Kid Casanova into a band with a unique sound. If the Violent Femmes had a love child with Television while on holiday with The Only Ones, then Kid Casanova would be your baby so to speak. A debut single with a good dollop of sexy girl drummer.

The only established criterion seems to be that bands come "with tunes". They say it's an obvious stipu...shortened comments
