Review: 'MUMM-RA'
'SHE'S GOT YOU HIGH'

-  Label: 'COLUMBIA'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '14th March 2007'

Our Rating:
Thunder, Thunder THUNDER THUNDER CATS!!!!! Yeah, like no-one's ever done that one before, Sorry. Couldn't resist it.

MUMM-RA are due to release their debut album "These Things Move In Threes", and this harmoniously pointless single "She's Got You High" will hopefully pave the way.

As a song, it sounds nice but it doesn't really mean much. And to emphasise the inanity, they've added an instrumental version as a b-side of sorts. A misguided decision perhaps, as the only purpose it serves is to make clear how you can count the number of chord changes on one hand. Not that we're asking for complex prog-rock opera here. Many classic songs are beautiful
in their simplicity, but this ain't one of them.

I wouldn't bother spending your cash on the single, you've probably heard it all before anyway. Save your pennies for the album, if it's any good.
