Spatial Unity are a trio from Scotland and apparently include Andy Murray, a former member of Wolfsbane among their number. Knock Me Off My Feet is their debut album.
The three members of this band are middle-aged white men with, no doubt, a fair few years in the rock-music business behind them. If you were to have three guesses as to the kind of music they would be making, you probably would not need all three to get it right. What we have here eight versions of the same song – well-produced, decently played, middle of the road pop-rock. It’s just boring, and has been done SO many times before.

Actually, there is one track that is not, and that’s “Dream Frequency” which has a spoken-word vocal over mellow, slighty electronic prog-rock backing track. It’s definitely the best track here, simply because the lads seem to have discovered a musical boundary to try and push.
For fans of Phil Collins. That says it all…
NB. do check out the very lovely Annette Pehrsson who has produced and appears in the photo-artwork though.
