'Legend' is a word that's come to be chronically overused and misapplied of late, and I'm generally sceptical of any band that is referred to as 'legendary' either by fans or their PR companies. Apparently, BTroop aren't only 'old school electro rockers', but they're 'Sheffield legends' to boot.
I consider myself to be reasonably well versed in contemporary music, and consider my field to span from punk and new wave to the present. Plus, I live in the North and spend reasonable amounts of time in Leeds and Sheffield. So how come I haven't heard of BTroop? Either they're huge and there's a disconcerting gap in my knowledge, or BTroop aren't actually legendary at all.
Either way, 'Eurostar,' is a pretty decent slice of old-school electro, robotic and dislocated, but suffers from a muffled, woollen production that spoils the effect rather. It's like Kraftwerk, only recorded with socks over the mics and speakers.
