It may be a cliché, but the old sample-heavy atmospheric intro before an explosion of very metal guitars and still works a treat. And so it is that ’Fold’ stamps its ferocious statement of intent. It’s heavy, angry and bleak, and pretty much summarises the EP as a whole.
‘No More Fish in the Sea’ is more accessible than the other tracks, where a lumbering verse is paired with a high-paced, high octane chorus. The throat-wrecked vocals are largely unintelligible, but there’s no questioning the sentiment as they pile on the bile. It’s ferocious alright.
