If there’s any one specific thing I detest about Christmas above all others, it’s... actually, it’s almost impossible to call because I detest pretty much everything, but Christmas singles are certainly up there as a leading source of irritation.
LostAlone’s buoyant pop-rock single is bursting with bounce and brimming with hooks and lines about catching a glimpse of Santa Clause all pinned to a tune that sounds like the theme tune to ‘Have I Got News For You’ and it’s so gloriously happy and upbeat that it not only makes me want to puke, but contemplate murder.
