Spiral certainly don't sound like anybody else. The closest comparison I can muster would entail a very distraught, much more sparse Residents pushing the extremes of repetition. Spiral take unlistenability to unique dimensions and in doing so have seemingly found a way to stretch the very fabric of time. An 11 minute CD seems to squeal along for hours! Now if only there was a way to stretch likewise the listeners attention, Spiral might complete more than one rotation in my player.
