SEELAND come with notable Post-Rock pedigree. To a man, they are Tim Felton, Billy Bainbridge and Neil McAuley and if you know your experimental band scene, you'll already know I'm talking veterans of notable outfits Broadcast and Plone.
With Seeland, however, they are in the business of throwing curves of a very different kind. Trailing their September-released second album 'How to Live', their new single 'Local Park' bites the Pop jugular with vampiric accuracy. It's deliciously lush, late summer pop and shot through like a stick of rock with a Small Faces-style Englishness. It inevitably talks about the weather (“I'm feeling much better in spite of the weather”), but despite its' retro-active charms, it has a contemporary energy and sounds nigh-on timeless.

'Local Park' is all too beautiful. Take a stroll around its' gentle lanes as soon as you get a few minutes to yourself.
