Asylums’ debut album, ‘Killer Brain Waves’, released last summer, will probably one of the greatest indie albums of the decade, combining as it does punchy, punk guitars, infinite hooks, and boundless energy. There isn’t a track on it that wouldn’t make a perfect single, and ‘Missing Persons’ is just that. Lyrically sharp and with a breezy, accessibly melodic delivery, it’s got the lot, and encapsulates the band’s knack for cracking contemporary indie tunes with bite and a tangible authenticity.
